How baccarat hands are counted
Two hands are dealt: Player and Banker. You never play either hand yourself; you bet on which one will finish closer to 9.

If a total goes above 9, only the last digit counts. A 7 and an 8 make 15, which becomes 5. A first-two-card total of 8 or 9 is a "natural", and the hand usually ends there.

Tie

Do I need to decide whether to draw a third card?
