Keno is one of the oldest number games around, and the app version keeps it wonderfully simple. You choose some numbers from a grid, a set of numbers is drawn, and your return depends on how many of yours come up.
Picking from the grid
The screen shows a board of numbers. You tap the ones you want, up to the maximum allowed by that version. Most games also offer a quick pick button that chooses for you.
Grid size, the number of picks allowed and the number of balls drawn all vary by version. Open the rules screen to see the setup at your table.
The draw
After you set a stake and confirm, the game draws numbers one by one. Each number you picked lights up when it appears.
When the draw finishes, the count of matches is compared with the paytable. If that count pays, the amount is added to your balance straight away.
Reading the paytable
The paytable is the heart of Keno. It changes with how many numbers you picked, and it lists what each number of matches returns.
- With few picks, a small number of matches can pay.
- With many picks, you need more matches before anything pays, but the top rows pay more.
- Some versions offer a risk setting that reshapes the whole table.
More picks do not raise your overall chance of profit. They only change how wins are distributed.
Keep your spending predictable
Keno rounds are quick, and auto-play can repeat the same picks for many rounds. Work out your total cost first: stake times rounds. If that figure is more than you are happy to lose, lower the stake or the round count before pressing play.
Ignore hot and cold number panels. Draws are random each time.
