An arcade-style fishing game

Happy Fishing from JILI looks more like an arcade cabinet than a casino table. A colourful sea fills the screen, fish swim past, and you control a cannon at the bottom that shoots at them.

Catch a fish and you win a prize based on that fish's value and your bet per shot. Miss, and the bullet's cost is gone.

How shooting works

Tap anywhere on the sea to fire towards that point. Each bullet costs the cannon value you have set.

When a bullet hits a fish, the game decides at random whether the fish is caught. Small fish tend to be caught more easily and pay little; large or special creatures are harder to catch but carry higher values.

Cannon value

Buttons beside your cannon raise or lower the bet per shot. A higher level makes each catch worth more, and every shot costs more too.

Helpful controls

Many fishing games offer auto-fire and a target lock that follows one fish. Special fish or bonus creatures may trigger extra effects. Exact fish lists and features vary by version, so open the paytable or help icon in the game.

Some rooms are multiplayer, so other players' cannons may appear on the same screen, but your shots and prizes are settled separately.

Think in shots, not rupees

Because spending happens one bullet at a time, it is easy to lose count. Before entering, divide your session budget by your cannon value to see how many shots you can afford. When that number is used, leave the room.

Switch off auto-fire if you notice your balance falling faster than expected, and resist raising the cannon to "chase" a big fish you keep missing.

FAQ

Happy Fishing FAQ

Does each shot in Happy Fishing cost money?

Yes. Every bullet you fire is deducted from your balance at the cannon value you selected, whether or not it catches a fish. That is why rapid firing or auto-fire can spend money very quickly. Keep an eye on the balance display while you play.

Are bigger fish easier to catch with a higher cannon?

A higher cannon value raises the prize if you catch a fish, because prizes are based on your bet per shot. It does not guarantee a catch. Larger, higher-value fish are generally harder to catch, and every capture is decided randomly.

What is the difference between Happy Fishing and Jackpot Fishing?

Both are JILI fish shooting games with a similar aim-and-fire style. They differ in theme, fish types and special features. Read each game's rules screen to compare, and see our Jackpot Fishing page for details of that title.
